What is scott geoffrion?

Scott Geoffrion was an American drag racer born on June 1, 1963, in San Clemente, California. He started his career in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) in 1986, driving a Pro Stock Pontiac Firebird. He won his first national event at the 1990 Winternationals in Pomona, California.

Throughout his career, Geoffrion had a total of 20 national event wins and was a three-time runner-up in the Pro Stock Championship points standings. He also had four career Pro Stock No. 1 Qualifier awards.

Geoffrion retired from competitive racing in 2002 due to the chronic injuries and physical toll racing had on his body. He later worked as a crew chief for several Pro Stock teams, most notably for KB Racing.

Geoffrion was inducted into the Arizona Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2006. He passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 58 due to complications from COVID-19.
